The Gosport & Fareham Sunday Globe, a high quality free weekly newspaper for the people of Gosport, is continuing to publish – despite a total collapse in advertising revenue.
Robin Young, Editorial Director, said: ‘We are committed to delivering local and national news so that we can provide people across the area with news and advice on coping with the Covid-19 crisis.
‘Our editorial team members are working from their homes, doing their very best under very difficult circumstances.
‘Thanks to the Gosport Lottery we have been handed a lifeline of £709 by Gosport Voluntary Action who administer the Lottery Fund, as there has never been a more important time than now to provide people across the area with news and advice on coping with the Covid19 crisis.’
